Expect a reply within a few days. There is no web form on this page, and that is deliberate rather than an omission: this site has no backend and no database, so there is nothing for a form to submit to. Every page here is static HTML and every tool runs entirely in your browser. Adding a form would mean adding a server that collects your message — the one thing the rest of the site is built to avoid.

Reporting a bug

Bug reports are welcome and they get fixed faster when they are reproducible. The three things that make a report actionable:

Your browser and device help too, if the problem looks like a layout or interaction issue rather than a wrong figure.

Corrections to data and formulas

Corrections are the most useful mail this project gets, and they are actively wanted. Every tool page states the formula it applies and the reference figures behind it, precisely so that a wrong one can be caught and named.

The sourcing standard the pages are held to:

So a correction lands best as: the page, the figure you think is wrong, the value you believe is right, and the source that says so. Pages carry a “last verified” date; if a figure has moved since that date, that is worth flagging on its own.

Tool suggestions

Suggestions for tools that don't exist yet are welcome. The ones most likely to get built are specific calculations with a defined method and a public source for the underlying figures — the kind of thing you would otherwise work out on paper more than once.

Privacy and legal

Questions about data handling, cookies, advertising or consent are answered in the privacy policy, which also covers how to exercise your rights and how to change your cookie choice. The terms of use cover what the tools are and are not warranted to do. Anything either page doesn't answer, send to the address above.
